Costello Playing Fields is having some major upgrades, which include a purpose-built 3G all-weather pitch with a dedicated changing facility, additional parking and an EV charging point.
The project, which has benefitted from considerable investment from Hull City Council will create a state-of-the-art year-round sports provision in west Hull, providing a high-quality facility for community user groups during peak times, such as evenings and weekends, and the 3G pitch will be used by Hull College during the day in term time.
Esteem will be working with construction partner, Sewell Construction to carry out the works which are expected to be completed by autumn 2026.
