Our project at Costello Playing Fields is progressing well, with foundations and drainage complete to the new pavilion, allowing the brickwork operation to commence.
The project will create a new pavilion hub and a multi-purpose 3G sports pitch, alongside increased car park facilities, near the existing sports stadium. Once complete, the new facilities will be a modern, vibrant hub that brings people together, giving the general public, local schools and colleges better access to training facilities, and accommodating community fixtures and events.
Sewell Construction, our construction partner on the project, are currently maintaining programme on the stabilisation of the ground beneath the 3G pitch, despite the challenges of the weather.
Sewell Construction has also recently taken their Digital Construction Academy on tour to Costello, giving young people from a local school insights into careers in the construction industry, with a digital edge.
